Consultation:
I gladly provide an introductory phone call (free of charge) to family members or concerned person(s), in order to understand the family network, process family dynamics and to discuss proper involvement and fee schedule.
Assessment:
Understanding the family system is the most important, fundamental aspect to successfully completing a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) intervention and the nature of the SUD. A successful interventionist will use an array of intervention models and approaches, depending on the circumstance. This is not a “one size fits all” operation.
John is a Certified Interventionist Professional (CIP) and a Certified Advanced Drug and Alcohol (CAADC) professional through the Pennsylvania Certification Board. He will use standard diagnostic assessment tools when diagnosing Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
Assessment criteria will result in recommendations for disposition, which aren’t always inpatient treatment facility recommendations.
John will facilitate the intervention into a recommended level of care.
Family Support
Recovery support continues for family members (for up to 90 days) once the intervention is successful and placement is completed.
