A seasoned clinician, John’s specialty includes Professional and Executive clients, Relapse prone individuals and/or chronic relapsers – or any individual that is not comfortable going to 12 step meetings. Relapse trained and a Certified Clinical Supervisor, John is versed in all areas that relate to the individual, the family and the workplace and how they all are affected by SUD. His clinical expertise includes professional and executive integration of recovery concepts, relapse workshops, the treatment of co-occurring disorders, self-diagnosis and the integrated treatment of Healthcare professionals.
John has spent 15 years in the addiction and mental health field working, most recently, as Executive Director at a preeminent treatment facility. John became sought after in the treatment industry, largely due to his style of counseling – raw and uncut yet practical and relatable. John is an interventionist, a public speaker, recovery coach and crisis manager. In these roles, his specialty includes concierge and case management services to Executives, people of affluence and high net worth, their family members and referents. His clinical expertise includes professional and executive integration of recovery principles, accountability partnerships, relapse prevention, self-diagnosis, the treatment of co-occurring disorders, and the integrated treatment of Healthcare Professionals. John is considered a thought leader in the addiction industry who has dedicated his career towards helping others.
John is triple-mastered (MA, MS, MBA), and triple-certified (CAADC, CCS, CIP), as well as an LPC (in Colorado and Pennsylvania) that has extensive hands-on experience working with people that suffer from substance use disorders. John’s ideal client is someone who wants to identify behavior change as it relates to substance use disorders either in themselves or in a family member. A gifted clinician with a real passion for helping people recover – John, himself, is in long-term recovery. He services clients all over the country on a virtual platform – but is currently based in Colorado and Pennsylvania. John has built a successful private practice that introduces people to recovery who are not totally sold on traditional treatment methods.
